Wildcat Boat & RV Storage operates an SMS/text message notification program to communicate with customers regarding their accounts and our services. This section describes our SMS program in detail and sets forth the disclosures required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable carrier guidelines.
Our SMS program consists of two types of messages:
Opt-In
You may opt in to receive SMS/text messages from Wildcat Boat & RV Storage by providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on your rental agreement, lease renewal form, or our online account registration form. By checking the consent box and providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from us at the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of renting a storage unit or purchasing any of our services. You may still receive our services if you choose not to provide consent to SMS communications.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your account activity and the type of communications you have consented to receive. You may receive up to [X] messages per month. Transactional messages may be sent more frequently during periods of account activity (such as when a payment is due, a payment is processed, or a gate code is changed).
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data rates charged by your wireless carrier will apply to all SMS messages sent to or received from us. These charges are governed by your individual wireless plan and carrier agreement. Wildcat Boat & RV Storage is not responsible for any messaging or data charges incurred by you.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery of SMS messages, wireless carriers may experience delays or failures in message delivery that are outside of our control. Time-sensitive communications should not rely exclusively on SMS delivery.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. The following reply keywords are also honored and will be processed immediately: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. Upon receipt of any opt-out keyword, your mobile number will be immediately removed from our active SMS list and no further marketing or transactional text messages will be sent to your number, except as required by applicable law. You may also opt out by contacting us by email, phone, or in person at our facility, as further described in Section 5.4 below.
Opt-Out Confirmation
After we receive your STOP request (or equivalent opt-out keyword), we will send you a single confirmation text message to confirm that you have been successfully unsubscribed. This confirmation message is the final message you will receive from our SMS program unless you choose to re-subscribe.
Help
If you have questions about our SMS program or need assistance, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us. You may also contact us directly by phone at [Insert Phone Number] or by email at [Insert Email Address] for additional assistance.
Re-Opt-In
If you have previously opted out of SMS communications and wish to re-subscribe, you may reply START to any prior message from our number, or contact us directly to re-enroll your mobile number in our SMS program. By re-subscribing, you consent to receive SMS messages in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your mobile phone number to any third party for their own independent marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected in connection with our SMS program are used solely to send messages on behalf of Wildcat Boat & RV Storage and are shared only with our authorized SMS messaging service provider, solely for the purpose of facilitating message delivery as described in this Privacy Policy.
We honor registrations on the National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). If your telephone number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry, we will not contact you with telemarketing calls. In the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, or transfer of substantially all of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will provide notice of such a transfer and any material changes to this Privacy Policy in accordance with Section 13.
